Ice Machine FM-80KE-N: Quick user guide for annual cleaning#

Purpose#

This procedure describes a quick method for the annual cleaning of the Ice Machine FM-80KE-N.

Procedure#

Cleaning the Ice Scoop and Opening Handle#

Spray the ice scoop and the opening handle of the ice machine with 70% ethanol for quick disinfection.

Cleaning the Inner Ice Storage#

1. Open the ice storage compartment.
2. Remove all ice and excess water and dispose of it in the sink.
3. Remove the inner white slide by gently bending it to unlock the retaining knobs.

4. Remove the drain cap by pulling it out.

5. Clean the ice storage compartment, the inner door, and the drain cap with water to remove any dirt.

Note: Take care not to damage the ice storage control actuator located at the top of the machine.

6. Soak a tissue with 70% ethanol and wipe all inner surfaces, including:
   • Ice storage compartment
   • Inner white door
   • Drain cap
7. Reinstall the drain cap and the inner door.
8. Do not wipe dry or rinse after sanitizing. Allow all surfaces to air dry.

• Cleaning tissue or disposable wipes
• Water

Frequency#

• Perform this cleaning procedure annually or whenever necessary.
